Many of you might be wondering what was the result of the confusing elections held during the previous agm. After much deliberation between myself and Pius, we have decided instead to work together in order to make this society one of the best on campus. Unfortunately only one person may become the society's chairman. Pius was gracious enough to allow me to take charge, and he is now our society's technical advisor.
We are, however, working together and both of us share a common goal and vision for the IET Student Chapter, that is to create a society that aims to shape and mould our members into more professional and knowledgable engineers for the future. It is the goal of this committee for this academic year to make a more orderly, systematic and transparent society and we hope for the full cooperation of you guys, the members of this society.
We also promise that subsequent committee elections in the future will be conducted in a more organised and systematic manner in order to prevent such a fiasco from happening again.
